Calendar Settings

To customize your In Touch EMR calendar settings to your liking, go to the Calendar Tab, choose Settings.

Calendar settings

Available settings  option: All fields with an asterisk are mandatory 

  1. Start Of Treatment Time: * - The time of day your clinic will Start
  2. End Of Treatment Time: * - The time of day your clinic will End
  3. Default Display: * - Display Intervals for appointment
  4. Treatment Length: *
  5. Default Timezone: * - Set the Time Zone in your local area
  6. Double Booking - Allow multiple appointments in one time slot
  7. Cancelled appointments - Display or hide appointments that are cancelled
  8. No show appointments - Display or hide appointments that are marked as No Show 
  9. Auto Refresh Calendar - when turned on, the calendar will automatically refresh every 1 minute to reflect all new information added
  10. Multi Resource View (Provider Listing) - To view all the provider calendars simultaneously in either horizontal or vertical view
  11. Hide weekends
  12. Hide Calendar 1.0

 

Creating Blocked Appointments 

This will allow you to block time periods for that set configuration. To set this, click on Configure Blocked Appointment

This pop up should appear. Provide the following information:

  • Select Provider - This is to set which calendar / provider, this block appointment will be set for
  • Day of the Week - The day of the week that it will recur
  • Select Time Range - The time period on that selected day
  • Description 

 

Deleting Blocked Appointments 

Click on the x icon next to the block appointment. This will remove the block appointment from the calendar
