Patient Dashboard - Appointments Tab

In the Patient Dashboard, one of the main tabs is the Appointments Tab. 

 

Once you mouse over on the Appointment tab, you will see several options.

You will notice that on each drop-down option besides the name is a number that indicates how many appointments are under that category.

When you click on any of the selections from the drop-down, the page will automatically open in a new tab. 

 

All 

Once you click on the All button from the drop-down, it will lead you to the page that lists all the appointments that have been plotted for this patient. 

It will list out the dates of the appointment on a chronological order from the upcoming to the previous. 

The status of the appointment is based on whether the document has been completed (finalized) or no documents have been created (floating) or a document is in progress. 

The assigned provider is the clinician's calendar to whom this appointment has been plotted to. 

You have the ability to click on the Export Appointment list button at the upper right hand corner to download the list of all the appointments in a PDF format. 

 

Upcoming 

This will list all future appointments. 

If the patient is asking for a list of their future appointments, you can easily print it from this page by clicking the Export Appointments List button. 

 

Previous

This is a list of all Previous Appointments. 

Since most previous appointments have finalized documents already, you can filter the appointments based on the episode where the finalized documents are in. 

 

Cancelled  

This will list all cancelled appointments.

 

Rescheduled

This will list all rescheduled appointments. 

 

 

No Show

This will list all appointments where the patient did not cancel but did not show up for the appointment. 


 

Floating

This will list all appointments wherein the document has not been completed/finalized yet.

Since these are appointments with no finalized documents yet, you will still have the ability to HIDE the appointments by clicking the HIDE button.

NOTE: Hiding appointments will cause it to not appear on the calendar or the drop-down appointment selection during documentation. 

Once you click HIDE, it will change to the word SHOW. Once you click the SHOW button it will reverse the process and show the appointment and change the button to HIDE. 

 

In Progress 

This will list all appointments that have been associated with a documentation but the document is still not finalized. It will appear under the documents in progress. 

 

Claim Submitted

In the claim review section of the documentation, you will be provided the option to submit the claim prior to even finalizing the document. All those submitted claims without finalized documents will appear in this list. 

 

It will show the name of the provider that had submitted the claim and when it was submitted (Submission Details).  It will also show the original provider whom the appointment was assigned to (Assigned Provider).  

 

Finalized 

This will show all appointments that have been associated with a document that has been finalized or completed. 

It will show whom the appointment was originally assigned to (Assigned Provider) and who finalized the document (Rendering Provider). 

 

In Review 

This will show all appointments for this patient that has been submitted for review but has not been finalized yet. 

It will show the PTA /COTA/ Student that submitted the document for review (Servicing Provider) and the provider where the document has been sent to (Rendering Provider).  The date of service and time of submission can also be seen.  Users can also click on the PDF icon to review and print the document.
