Distribution List

The Distribution List is a way to organize and manage contacts. This is also where the contacts are stored when they are added to the Clinical Contact account through the Online Sign Up pages, by importing, or Keyword sign up.

 

Creating a Distribution List

 

From Manage Contacts

Go to the Manage Tab and click on Contact Database. 

 

Click on Create button.


Create Distribution List Pop Up Box - This is the same box that appears when using the direct feature. 

  • Distribution List - Helps identify but this is used in send by phone feature. This should not have any spaces.  

  • Display Name - Helps identify and how it will appear within the account. This is visible for the subscriber during online sign-ups. Allowing them to be aware of what they are signing up for.

  • Monthly Message Frequency - enter the estimated number of text messages the subscriber should expect from the User's business. This is disclosed to all the subscribers when they sign up. Remember if a large number is used, it may scare away subscribers. If a number lower than what is intended to be sent is added, subscribers may not appreciate receiving more than what they signed up for.  

  • List Description - This will provide more detail on what kind of messages the User is planning on sending to the distribution list. This is displayed in the welcome message.

 

 

 

Editing / Deleting Distribution List

The Distribution List can be deleted/edited by going back to the list.

Choose from the list and click on Edit or Delete.
